The Story of Rena leigh 

Welcome to Rena Leigh you are now in hair heaven!

You know when people say they were born to be a hairdresser? I was born to be a hairdresser. You see I didn't just wake up one morning and think I'm going to go to study hairdressing. I was born into the industry and October 1990 was where my journey started, hairdressing is in my blood.   

My Mum has owned multiple successful hair salons for around 40 years, my Dad also owned 2 successful salons and also my Aunt's and Uncle. When I say I was born into the industry it ain't no exaggeration! My older sister and I spent a lot of our time in our family salons whilst growing up, hairdressing runs through our veins. So, whilst you were playing in the park on Saturdays, we were passing up rollers.

From the age of 6 years old I knew hairdressing was the only route for me and also my love for wigs had started. At the age of 13 I began working as a Saturday girl for my uncle until I left school at 16.

I secured an apprenticeship for when I left high school at the world-famous Vidal Sassoon. I have now been working in the industry for over 15 years and have travelled the world taking my knowledge and extensive skills with me. My mum has always said ''You can be a hairdresser anywhere in the world'' and she was right.

My love for wigs, hair extensions is no joke and dying my hair crazy colours, but we'll talk about that latter part another time! I have solely focused on the wig making industry for over 5 years and now is the time to share my designs, creations and expertise with the world.

I don't just love what I do, I am what I do. I know you will fall in love as much as I have with my designs.
